How to integrate Multiply with your feed manager

Updated by Constance Colboc

In order to complete the integration of Multiply with your feed manager, we need to create a new feed. Your feed manager must use this as input to replace the original feed.

Without this integration, your feed manager overwrites the prices that Multiply sends to your marketplaces once or several times a day. This overwriting is normal, your feed manager is configured with rules and input data that do not recover the prices calculated by Multiply. To avoid overwriting, we create a feed that is a copy of your original feed with added columns (for feeds in CSV extension) or XML elements (for feeds in XML extension) :

Each new column will be titled that way: price_{MARKETPLACE}_{ACCOUNT_ID}

A new column will appear each time you add a marketplace account to your Multiply account. It is up to you to associate, in the configuration of your feed manager, these columns with the prices of the corresponding marketplaces by respecting the following rules:

  • If the Multiply Column contains a target price, send it directly to the marketplace
  • If the Multiply Column is empty, send a price of your choice (reference price for example)

It is very important that your feed manager always sends a price, whether there is a Multiply target price or not. Some marketplaces could deactivated your offer if you don’t send a price.

This rewritten feed is always up-to-date: each time you or your feed manager downloads it, Multiply gets your original feed and adds the most recent prices.

Please do not hesitate to request if you need some support from Multiply regarding your pricing issue last week or for any further information or question.
